SΗΙPWRECK (NAVAGIO) BEACH

The most famous attraction of Zakynthos and one of the most known and beautiful beaches in the world. With golden sand and mesmerizing turquoise waters, it owns its name to a ship smuggling cigarettes from Turkey on 1982 that sunk and was washed ashore in the middle of the beach since then. It is surrounded by eerie majestic rocks and only accessible by sea, with boats that do scheduled trips from near areas but also from the town of Zakynthos.
